Devika leads our talent development activities and works to position GFI India as the key resource centre for innovation in India’s emerging smart protein sector.

Devika oversees the talent and workforce development initiatives and helps build career pathways for India’s youth to enter this sunrise sector. An alumnus of the India Smart Protein Innovation Challenge (ISPIC), she led its subsequent iteration and continues to provide strategic advisory and build the enabling ecosystem for smart protein companies to scale. Devika also established India’s first chapter of the Alt Protein Project, seeding smart protein innovation at universities and helping centre young Indians in the food systems conversation.
