Samrat advances GFI India’s government relations to help scale the smart protein and associated industry ecosystem at the regional and national  level.

Drawing on his experience working on sub-national climate policies and nature conservation in India and Germany, Samrat brings global and local perspectives on translating policy frameworks into practical on-ground outcomes. He actively engages state and national government  bodies, industry stakeholders, multilateral agencies, and civil society to accelerate policy progress onalternative proteins in India. Through strategic initiatives, research, and stakeholder collaboration, he strengthens public  support for innovation and growth in the sector.
